Utilizing a single CR123 battery, The AETERNUS was designed to have prolonged battery life vs. other comparable night vision systems on the market. 
 
One of the ways we accomplished this was by eliminating the IR illuminator. Here at Low Light Innovations, we are consumers. With that mindset, we re-designed our housing to eliminate unnecessary weight and unnecessary features. In doing so, the AETERNUS has an extra 5 hours of battery life in comparison to the mainstream competition.
